My name is Heather Pikul and I am a 2006 Paul Smith's College culinary arts alumni. I studied classic French cooking and pastry and have been in the food and restaurant industry for 14 years.
I started this business selling pies and biscuits to Henry's Farm Stand in Chittenango, NY formerly under You're So Sweet! Baking Co. in the summer of 2011. After feeling like I had found my calling to baking, I experimented with breads and other pastries to see what the Oneonta community was looking for. And that was from scratch, all natural bread and pastries. In order to really fill the baked goods gap in Oneonta I began offering gluten-free and vegan items as well.
Today I sell locally at the Oneonta Farmer's Market every Saturday all year long offering breads, cookies, scones, pies, and granola. I have also expanded to local restuarants and special events. Now I am excited to start planning my next step on my baking journey: a full-service commercial bakery to serve Oneonta and the surrounding communities.
